LV construction came highly reccommended to me in 2006.I was in need of
a competant, and a highly skilled and experienced craftmen to take on the
challenge of rectification and completion works to my attic conversion.
My objective was to rectify and improve the quality and finish of an
incomplete project that was not up to standard, without compromising on
the design or the Edwardian character of the building. LV Construction
worked their magic; they gave me exactly what I wanted, they worked
efficiently, and to a very high standard. Their attention to detail on
the finish of the dormer to the front elevation was fantastic -

Our Listed Building was in severe need of renovation when we purchased it in 2006. 

LV Construction transformed our damp and dilapidated building into a picture perfect cottage.  They used traditional techniques with lime plaster and lime pointing, correcting the damp and turning the cottage into a real home for us.  Their knowledge of traditional building work was superb and I would definitely use them again for anymore work that I may require in the future.

I have known Liam in his capacity as a Building Contractor and Developer during my time as a Director at RM Associates working on the Island for 5 years. He has successfully completed several building projects during this time, both for himself and other clients.
 
Of particular note is a new cottage constructed to a very high standard using local stone and thatch that he has built on his own land in Carisbrooke. This project was shortlisted for the RIBA IOW New Build Award  and conservation nomination 2007.

I employed LV Construction to erect a 2 Storey Extension to my House in 2008 consisting of enlarging the kitchen area, providing a play area and providing 2 additional bedrooms on the first floor (approximately 350 square feet). This extension was required to provide additional facilities for my Disabled Boy and his brother. 

 

The builders had to deal with the normal problems associated with working on a site with the added complication of dealing with young children by maintaining a safe environment during construction. 

 

The work was carried out to a very high standard and within the agreed time period and cost. The whole process was carried out in a stress free environment for me, the children and hopefully the builders.

 

The children particularly enjoyed the experience of seeing the extension go up and found the workers both friendly and patient when dealing with them.

 

I would have no hesitation in recommending this contractor for the quality of workmanship and the friendly and courteous conduct of those who worked on my house.

I needed my bungalow roof re-felting, or should I say de-felting and replacing with breathable membrane, and I needed it "like yesterday".
